Our University has two dormitory buildings for boarding students, one on-campus and the other off-campus. The on-campus dormitory consists of five stories, and each room accommodates six students. Air conditioning and network facilities are provided for each bedroom. The male dormitory is located on the first and second floors, with 39 rooms in total (including one room containing three beds for disabled students), with a sum of 231 beds. The female dormitory is on the third, fourth and fifth floors, with a total of 63 rooms (which includes one room containing four beds for disabled students), including 376 beds in all. The off-campus dormitory includes 111 beds for male students and 31 beds for female students.
There is a curfew for the on-campus dormitory, which is set at 23:00 every night. Both the safety of the dormitory and the access management of boarders are taken care of by resident assistants. CCTV cameras are installed in the dormitory for 24-hour recording and monitoring to ensure the safety of boarders. The off-campus dormitory is serviced by part-time administrative staff, and it is under the access control of inductive cards for the whole day. The on-duty military instructor assists with safety maintenance and handles any emergencies.
The student dormitory is organized by boarders to establish an autonomous organization, the Student Living Promotion Association, which holds frequent dormitory activities, regularly hosts head of bedroom meetings, and takes good care of the life of boarders. This level of care enhances the willingness of students from other counties and cities to study with us.
